If you're in Hamburg and know Tim Mälzer from TV, you'll definitely want to stop by the Bullerei. That's what happened to us too and we didn't regret it!
First of all: You should definitely reserve a table, as the restaurant is busy and you probably won't be able to get a seat spontaneously.
The service is super friendly and on the ball without seeming hectic.
The menu is perfectly labeled and the allergens are listed on the last page, so you don't have to ask for the allergen menu. The staff can competently answer questions about gluten. I specifically asked again about the sauces, no problem.
Bread, oil and salt are brought to the table before the meal. Gluten-free bread was announced to me and brought to the table a little later so that I could snack in advance and not have to watch the others eat.
The focus in the Bullerei is on meat dishes (surprise), so we ordered grilled entrecote for two people, with various side dishes that can be put together flexibly. The meat was perfect and the potato gratin on the side was super delicious!
For dessert there was spaghetti ice cream - the portion was gigantic, but you can't leave anything left because it's so nice.
Would come here again to eat at any time. If you prefer it quiet, you might have problems here, as the rooms are relatively "noisy", but that doesn't make a difference for me.
