Carollo's Little Italy

Our meal got off to a little bit of a slow start, and I was concerned that my Autistic grandson might be a bit fussy because of this HOWEVER… OH MY GAWSH BECKY the service turned out to be amazing, and the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Now, I am Celiac and thus have learned to make just about any restaurant meal I could ever want, so I can almost never say “ it was better than my own home-made”, but this meal absolutely was!!! And every one of us agreed, this was possibly the best meal we had had in a decade. Then the check came in, and it was more than reasonable! DO NOT SKIP THIS RESTAURANT, it is all kind Mrs of fabulous!!!!

I took a shot in the dark ordering chicken parm here- the chain Italian restaurants in South Jersey tend to skimp on chicken. But this place is freaking AWESOME! The chicken cutlets are HUGE, the sauce is great it must be homemade (but it is unseasoned- not sure if you have to ask for it seasoned), they have a variety of pastas including whole wheat and gluten-free, and the garlic bread knots are addicting. Definitely worth the price- seriously the chicken parm is big enough for 2 adults. Authentic Italian cuisine, thank you!
