It’s Saturday evening and I headed out to Don Giovanni contemporary Italian and pizzeria for chicken parmigiana. I initially ordered it to go, but I got there before it was ready. I decided to to just eat it there while it’s piping hot. I started off with an excellent crisp house salad with fresh greens, red onions, tomatoes, carrots and house balsam dressing. My chicken part came out piping hot with a side of spaghetti and their thick red sauce. The chicken cutlets were lightly battered then pan-fried to a golden crisp, topped with mozzarella, red sauce and chopped parsley. The chicken was tender inside and crispy outside—no need for a knife. I just forked through it. No need for a knife. It was delicious. Usually I get something sweet to preeent to you, but I’m on a time crunch. No time for desserts tonight. Sorry šŸ˜‚ Thank you Giovanni and Shana for always making my dining experience memorable. Great food, service and atmosphere. Always a great time here and always great bumping into the foodies from the page. Foodies listen up. If you haven’t been here, then you must and if you already have, you already know.

It’s the first day of my birthday month, and my mother had a craving for pizza. She hasn’t stopped talking about Giovanni ever since we ate there for the first time. We had a chance to speak to him and learn a little about him, his family, where he came from and the hurdles he jumped before opening. He is truly a genuine human being. Tonight, when we pulled up and saw a parking lot full of cars. The dining room indoor/out and the bar was packed. It put a smile on my mother’s face. I had asked her if she wanted to get a feel for the outside patio or not, but she chose inside. As soon as a table was available, we were seated. I placed our order as our server approached our table. I ordered the Montanari as an appetizer. I saw it posted on their page on Facebook and I was very intrigued by it. They are lightly fried dough balls/fritters topped with fresh mozzarella, sauce and fresh basil. I’d say it’s safe to call it a fried pizzette. They were very soft enough to cut with a fork and easy enough to pick up by the hand. And you know I wasn’t going to leave here without a fresh-baked pizza. It was full of flavor and piping hot. Plenty of sauce, cheese and toppings surrounded by the crispiest crust. CRUNCH! It’s hours later and I’m craving that experience all over again. Next time I look forward to ordering a specialty entree like Marsala or the Piccata, or maybe I can twist Giovanni’s arm and have him make me chicken FranƧaisešŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļø. So stay tuned!! So if you haven’t been here yet please come check this place out. Thank you Giovanni Spinosa, Shana, Tami and the rest of the staff, for giving us a wonderful dining experience. Much love and success!! Don Giovanni contemporary Italian and pizzeria

Guess what? I’m at another Italian eatery again. That’s three days in a row. I’m sitting at a table looking out the window here at Don Giovanni contemporary Italian and pizzeria, watching Giovanni putting together outdoor outing heat warmers for his patrons dining outside. While I am nice and warm inside😊 Today I’m bringing some heat to the table. I ordered a pie with jalapeƱos and onions on it. Shy, our server brought some toasted bread with herbs and olive oil, but I twisted it up by adding pepper flakes. We had a second serving of bread. I was trying to limit myself, so I didn't get full. While I was sitting and waiting for my pie to come out, I did have a few foodies from the page say hi before they were leaving. Great to see our peeps supporting local businesses. In no time, my order arrives. I’m staring into a massive jalapeƱo and onions pie on a pedestal. I can feel the heat and smell the jalapeƱos in the air. I grabbed a pipping hot slice to put out on my plate. I then asked for oregano. I added pepper flakes and oregano. The flavor was so tasteful because of the fusion of jalapeƱos and onions. Their juices were flowing throughout the cheese. It was very flavorful. We were full and with two slices in a to-go box. We were just ready to leave and I saw this giant plate of desserts coming towards our table. I was like, oh no, no-no. This plate of chocolate Tartufo, tiramisu, white chocolate cheesecake w/ raspberry drizzle and limoncello. Say what?! These are decadent desserts. The chocolate tartufo has become one of the favorites introduced to me recently. I highly suggest these desserts to share. Thank you, Giovanni, Shana, Shy and the rest of the staff who made our dining experience exceptional. Delicious food, outstanding service and a cozy atmosphere. Made my trifecta. Do yourself a favor, if you’re in the area, stop by…
