El Harissa is a gem of a restaurant that offers a variety of dishes from different regions of the Mediterranean. My wife and I enjoyed the mujadara rice and the root vegetable and date tagine, which were both flavorful and satisfying. The mujadara rice was a hearty dish of lentils, rice, and caramelized onions. The root vegetable tagine was a stew of carrots, parsnips, turnips, and sweet potatoes, cooked in a fragrant broth with spices and dried fruits. Both dishes were vegan and gluten-free, but you wouldn't miss the meat or the wheat. I enjoyed the deli style service. We will definitely come back to El Harissa to try more of their delicious dishes.
