Golden Orient

Golden Orient is an absolute disgrace if you have an allergy. On Friday, I received a gluten free meal and I was violently sick within minutes of eating half of it, it was laced with gluten. I have never been so sick in all my life, I could of died. They seriously need some manners too I was treated like an animal. I will not ever return to this place and if you have an allergy please be careful, the seriousness of eating food that is reactive with your body can seriously harm you. I am still in a lot of pain 5 days after because of their negligence.

Good range, took 2 rather unadventurous eaters (4 and 5) to introduce them to new foods, there was enough stuff that they knew thye liked to get them going and they did try egg fried rice and sesame toast. We don't like food waste so this is a great way way fiev ehm small tasters of new stuff. I am gluten free so got to order my own dishes which were brought straight to my table (sweet and sour and beef and mushrooms) they were allergy aware. We all had what we wanted to eat and eating at lunch time it wasn't bad money- approx £35 with us each having a soft drink too not bad for multiple course lunch!
