It's important to say that we are an absolute nightmare booking. All of us are gluten-free, my sister is dairy free, and I am intolerant to a long list of things, including dairy, onions, garlic etc.
I called ahead and spoke to the head chef, who confirmed that they would be able to accommodate us. We needed a lot of adaptation to menu items and throughout the meal the server was really understanding with us, and careful to check and doublecheck certain things on many occasions.
The service was great overall, and the food was amazing. The cocktails and mocktails were also really nice.
It's only 4 stars for food though because the rice couldn't be served dairy free (butter), and there was no gluten-free bread option. Still five stars overall as this didn't affect the enjoyment of the meal, and we are very awkward. With some bread, and some rice, the meal would have been perfect.
The restaurant wasn't too busy, or too quiet, and the ambiance was nice.
We will be returning :-)
