Hamburg Inn No. 2

Delicious breakfast spot with lots of local charm. The Baja special as a skillet was delicious and gluten free. They have GF toast and will even make French toast with it.

About a month ago i was working at the 5 story constucion site at the corner of linn and market street. I asked some co workers, "What's good to eat around here?" Some suggested oasis, others said hamburg inn. I chose oasis. Today I'm back at this site so I wanted something different. I looked at the menu online for hamburg inn, found some reviews, looked at the menu and found something id like to try. These reviews also suggested they have a good gluten free selection which I'm interested in because my wife has celiacs disease, thought i would ask for a to-go menu for her to look at. I was told they have a fantastic breakfast menu. Having never been here I thought I would call ahead and see if I could place an order to go because no one else wanted to go so I didnt want to sit by myself. The man that answered the phone said, "Hold on one sec." He came back no more then 30 seconds later and said, " I'm sorry we are too busy to place a to-go order".... What? I simply want to exchange $$$ for food. I dont want a table. I dont want a refill. I dont want ketchup. I dont want extra napkins. Trying to find new places my wife, kids and I can eat is a bit more challenging with her having celiacs. I thought I would take them here to try some day but I promise you I will NOT even consider it now. Sorry. Thank you Oasis, I enjoyed your gyro! Again.
