We booked a table for St. Martin's Day dinner. A beautiful and expensive place, we were sure it would be memorable... It didn't turn out as we expected.
The 2 waiters are not famous for their kindness and hospitality. They weren't jerks either, but they damn near didn't want to work.
The meat in the goose soup was chewy. Next to the sage goose, you could have asked if I would like it half-baked, because that way it was far from the real thing.
The biggest mistake: we agreed on Gluten-free in advance and I asked for it. Then the waiter brought out 3 breaded rice croquettes next to the goose... It took about 5 seconds for him to look at me and didn't understand what was wrong with me... Then he apologized and they changed the side dish to plain potatoes....
We asked for 2 glasses of wine. We got one, but it wasn't muscat either. I had to ask for the other one again...
I would have expected compensation because of the food allergy issue. Not necessarily money. Another glass of wine, short, whatever... There was nothing.
On top of the 10% service charge, he would have really expected a tip, even though he axed the gluten-free food and the order as well.
I left the point for the end. We managed to put all of this together so that there were 4 of us in total, for the 2 waiters in the entire restaurant. Never here again.
The place is nice. Service and food max 2 stars.
