Hotel Monier

If you are a Coeliac, this place is for you, very Coeliac aware and the food is delicious.

Having Coeliac Disease it's reassuring that the chef can prepare many delicious gluten free meals for me in a dedicated area in the kitchen. Hotel Monier takes the utmost care to ensure meals are suitable for Coeliac's and worry free of cross contamination. I've always enjoyed my meals and so do many of my friends who drive from the northside of Brisbane to have lunch with me regularly. It's one of my favourite places to take my daughter to lunch also. The area we all like to sit to have our meals is the Green Room or Cafe', not a fan of the main large room as it lacks ambience and in summer too hot to sit outside.

Celebrated my recent birthday there. Our Mum had been several times over the years and loved it, so was lovely to feel Mum with us. They have a huge selection or Gluten free food on there menu. My Sister is actually allergic to wheat so, was extremely important to read near the counter that the GF food menu components are actually deep fried in separate fryers and are no where near any food that can contaminate them. Huge variety of so many different types of food. We arrived for 6.00pm and lucky as there was a long line going up to order after about 6.15, just showed how popular the hotel really is. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will definitely return for the variety and confidence of no contamination for GF food. My Chicken Satay was absolutely amazing, my niece had food envy.
