Cannot praise this place enough, especially for their friendly and helpful staff. A big shout-out to Julia who helped us with a tricky booking and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable - thank you so much! It set the tone for our holiday and made us feel so welcome.
The location of the hotel is unbeatable - in a quiet street yet only a one minute walk to St James Park station and in easy walking distance of the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, Downing Street, St James Park, Buckingham Palace and many other sights. It has a lounge area behind reception which offers free tea/coffee/water all day and is a cosy place to get together.
Unless you're travelling on a budget, I would recommend booking the larger rooms (for 2 people) as they're just more comfortable. Ours had natural light which was nice,- note that you cannot open the windows. Thankfully the air con worked really well (though one was losing a bit of water) and the bed was comfy.
The breakfast is such a good deal at £6! It could be more varied but at this price you really can't complain and it still beat some other hotel breakfasts. Gluten free options were available on request. Best bit when you're travelling with teenagers: you can order reasonably priced pizza in the lounge 24/7 - amazing!
I would 100% recommend and visit again when we're in London! Thanks to the entire team for their hospitality and kindness.
