Hug-Hes Restaurant and Catering

The menu here is unexpectedly higher in its quality than I thought. The prime rib is comparable to your favorite steak house. Also, they appeared to have a very extensive gluten-free menu. Great "date night" spot as it has proximity to a Syracuse movie theater.

We love the food here and order quite often since it’s so close by but every single damn time I order my food with explicit instructions that it be gluten free and dairy free they screw it up. They’ve only ever screwed it up one time when dining in yet somehow they can’t seem to understand basic dietary restriction instructions for takeout orders no matter how clearly we explain it. We are done giving our business to an establishment that continues to charge us for food I can’t eat. Train your staff FFS.

The wait staff was very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, and there were plenty of options for gluten free. They have some of the best gluten free bread I've ever had. It was so good, I thought it was actually normal bread!
