Island Poké Soho

Went in during rush hour and can absolutely say the service was amazing as always and all staff are super friendly. I’d like to give a special thanks to Bea who served me and walked me through my order given my gluten intolerance.

I will never go back!! I went to the Fitzrovia branch of Island poke store with my family. As soon as we arrived, as I have gluten allergy, I did ask the server if there were any gluten free sauces. The server looked around and she seemed not knowing the answers. After few minutes she replied saying that all sauces contain gluten. I then asked as they had 2 proteins, if tuna was available and she mentioned that it is marinated in soy sauce, so definitely not. She seems unprepared which it is unacceptable, especially if someone has a severe allergy. Also, staff did not wear gloves and the shops looked really dirty. Definitely not going back as the maximum I can get it is plain rice with some toppings. Really disappointed!
