Mamma G's

Phenomenal food. My friend I was dining with is gluten free, and they were able to accommodate his needs well. Our waitress clearly communicated what substitutions were available for each option, and what to expect. The cappuccinos are phenomenal, and the desserts are to die for.

We tried Mama G's for the first time and had high hopes, seeing as it was tough to get a reservation and the parking lot was packed. The atmosphere was meh', we waited for roughly 15 minutes before being acknowledged, which was not a huge deal, as we were chatting amongst ourselves. Our server eventually came to the table and was pleasant, helpful and attentive. I ordered a beer which came to the table warm, so that was a bit of a bummer. I ordered chicken french. The pasta was undercooked, and the dish had a weird flavor like lemon pledge, almost as if the sherry in the sauce had not been cooked out fully. My Mom had the chicken parm, she was not a fan as she also mentioned the pasta tasted weird and the sauce was bland. Our friend had a gluten free chicken parm, which was literally a chicken breast stacked on pasta with a piece of mozzarella cheese melted over it. Maybe it was what we ordered or just a bad night overall. I will say our waitress was excellent and very accommodating, however the food itself is a hard pass. Sorry Mama G's, but this was a total disappointment.
