The manager made a guess at what had gluten in it or not. She didn't check anything for clarification on allergens. I had to get onto the company website to find out. The manager was wrong. I'm glad I checked. When I informed her what the truth was, the manager said, "I just go by what other customers tell me." What? That may result in someone seriously having an allergic reaction.

Worst Jason’s Deli by far. Wife has gluten allergy, we frequent Jason’s Deli for their gluten free options. My wife asked about the new salad and if the salad dressing was also gluten free and the cashier asked and came back and stated the jalapeño dressing wasn’t gluten free because of the Mayo. When asked why it’s on the gluten menu they couldn’t answer. They gave us the raised arm “I don’t get paid enough to care look”. Wife decided to order the BBQ baked potato instead to be safe. When our food was brought to us, her potato was piping hot. After 10 minutes watching us eat because it was so hot she tried to take a bite and burned her mouth. It was so hot the plastic fork began melting. After 15 minutes and still too hot to eat I took it up and asked for the manager. When he arrived I expressed my distaste and shows him the melted fork. He seemed uninterested in the fact my wife had to sit there and watch us eat and be in tears from her mouth burn. So, I stated she would even be eating this if you me If the menu were correct. He asked what I was talking about and when I told him he states in a snarky voice “all our dressings are gluten free”. I asked him why all the employees don’t understand that? He said he thought they did. He ended up refunding me for the potato meal. Whatever. Taking the wife to doctor because she has skin peeling off the roof of her mouth now. If a company can’t be somewhat apologetic and hold themselves accountable for their own negligence, there is a legal process that will. If you have a gluten allergy, stay away from this place for now.
