I do not recommend this place, first of all due to the astonishingly rude service. I have never been met in a food spot with such an arrogant, dismissive attitude.
Staff acts like they don’t even know/care what gluten is. Why even bother then to label yourself as “gluten-free” if you are annoyed when people ask to be reassured of certain items that they are indeed gluten free?
For some people, allergy sufferers or celiacs, it will be crucial to ask these questions. It’s frustrating enough that there doesn’t seem to be much awareness or understanding (nevermind kindness) around allergies in this area, it’s even worse though that you get to be treated like a third-world citizen for “daring” to want to eat somewhere during a 1 week stay in the area. Awful experience.
