(Gluten Free Review) My girlfriend and I stopped in here after a very pleasant phone conversation as we drove across 64. After being rudely told no by a few restaurants when it came to GF options the lovely lady that answered at Jovalou said the menu could definitely be adjusted for her Celiac's. We were assured that all pans and utensils would be washed thoroughly to ensure no cross-contamination. We both had the filet mignon (mine with glutenous crab rue that was to die for) and it was cooked perfectly. To make up for the rue being glutenous they put a fresh garlic butter on her filet which paired perfect with the baked sweet potato and balsamic brussel sprouts. I had garlic spinach and a baked potato which did not disappoint. Their made from scratch dinner roll and cinnamon butter put a big smile on my face! My Old Fashioned and her Mojito were well-crafted. Definitely try the Cran-Apple-Pear crumble,a mix of wonderful flavors not too sweet but not too sour. All in all we are entirely impressed by the superb quality of Jovalou's food and their wonderful staff! We're from a big city a few states away and to find the owner of this small town gem working the kitchen herself and turning out amazing food has been the highlight of our random road trip. Personally I can't thank you enough for the dessert favor at the end of the meal, it meant a lot to her. Thank you!
