Overall, it was a good meal experience. Great sushi, and tho a tiny restaurant, the food made up for the mediocre no smiles service.
It was decided that Japanese would make for a perfect birthday dinner. We found this new place downtown Inverness we thought we'd give it a go. We called earlier for reservations. Upon our arrival we waited at the front. The restaurant was noticeability slow to acknowledge our arrival, as it took a good 5 minutes to be seated and only 2 tables were seated among the maybe 10 total. We ordered drinks and for the 3 of us, only 2 napkins were set on the table, with no plates. After we ordered a variety of apps, sushi and entrees, I asked for extra napkins and some plates. Be aware there are Very limited gluten free options here. I tried the East roll which is gluten free (as long as you don't use the soy sauce). I tried ordering the salad and soba noodles (yaki soma) with veges /chicken. It was tasty, but again, I'm afraid had gluten because of the soy sauce in the sauce on the noodles, so I only tasted it and gave it to my hubby, who liked it a lot. Next time I'll only order sushi, it was great! The boys really loved their goyza , salads, sushi and entrees. We'll be back and hopefully get at least one smile from the staff.
