Our first time ar Kumo Collegeville was pleasant.
Decor, although not outstanding, was clean, handsome and appealing. It didn't feel like just a take out place. It was well suited as a dine in establishment. The menus were clean, attractive and full of options with photographs of the selections. There is even a gluten free page.
I had the hibachi filet mignon and brown rice while my lady had the Philly and California sushi rolls with edamame and the sea grass. She loved it except for the sprinkling of fish eggs on part of one of the sushi options. The filet mignon was great, with flavorful veggies and gravy. Portion size was adequate with some leftovers. (Note, the hibachi is prepared in the kitchen, not out in front of you.)
The wait staff was pleasant and attentive. Although there were dessert options that peeked my curiosity, we passed only because we were full.
Reservations are surely recommended. It's definitely worth a visit, especially with the large selection of sushi, if you're so inclined.
