We had high hopes for Maggie’s in Oakbrook, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. My rigatoni pasta was overly salty and unexpectedly spicy, despite requesting gluten-free — which left my stomach uneasy after just a few bites. My daughter’s pasta had a strange milky, sugary taste that she didn’t enjoy at all. On a positive note, the appetizers were okay, and my husband’s seafood pasta was okay. Overall, the food felt mediocre and overpriced for the quality. In terms of pasta, in my opinion, Olive Garden delivers a better pasta experience than what we had here.

Gluten friendly menu is great for Italian cuisine

I came here for a staff dinner, and the whole menu served had gluten except the salad (I have a gluten intolerance). The nice server and chef were incredibly accommodating and quickly provided me a personal plate of grilled chicken parmesan with GF pasta, and a personal crème brûlée for dessert!! I wish I knew their names so I could personally give them a shoutout, but if you have a gluten intolerance/allergy, just know that Maggiano's will definitely be ready to accommodate you with no issues!
