Mellow Mushroom Jacksonville Beach

Amazing place, shout out to Charlie our amazing waitress! I love the food, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is cool and chill. The only reason I don’t go here more often is I just wish there were more gluten free options, like gluten free cheesy bread or hoagies. I have celiac disease, and it’s hard to find restaurants with a wider selection of celiac friendly foods. They did do amazing dealing with gluten allergy though, asking me if it was an allergy or preference to keep from cross contamination if an allergy (which mine is), and asking about anything else that could possibly harm me. i.e dairy, seasoning, etc. Overall, I love this place, definitely worth it!!

Horribly managed kitchen. I have had multiple experiences where we ordered gluten free crust and the kitchen messed it up. Today was the last straw. We waited over an hour for our pizzas and one came non-gluten free. It took an additional 15 minutes to get the right pizza. Well, what we thought was the right pizza. Now that we are home it seems that the cheese was not vegan. No manager apologized. Never returning to this location, ever.

Good selection and prices; gluten free selections. Really friendly and funky vibe.
