Had 50 minutes to spare before attending a meeting nearby so called in for a drink and hopefully get a quick bite to eat. There was only one other table occupied, which was a group of 6 that were halfway through their meal. Having had a lovely strawberry milkshake two months ago, it was a no brainer for my choice of drink. My wife ordered a de-caf latte. At the time of ordering the drinks we asked whether they had any gluten free Nacho's. The waitress/server was not sure and said she would check with the kitchen. Approximately 20 minutes later our drinks were served. They weren't worth the wait. A 3/4 filled child's glass of frothy milk that had been shown a quick glimpse of strawberry flavour with no cream!!!!! A latte that tasted worse than a ready mix £2 sachet of latte. No mention was made relating to the Nachos, which in hindsight would seem to have been a lucky escape. The bill for the disappointing offerings was £9.95!!!! Unlike Oliver Twist I will not be saying 'please sir I want some more'!

The restaurant is done up beautifully and has a great atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly 😊 They were more than happy to accommodate my dairy, soy and gluten dietary requirements and went out of their way to ensure my food was cooked separately to avoid contamination 👏🏼 Unfortunately their Aberdeen Angus burgers AND the bun contains soy so I couldn't have a burger.... Why there needs to be soy in a beef burger I'm not sure! Anyway I had 3 plates of chicken wings, pork and prawns which were a good size and very tasty, I thought It was good value for money. My friends had platters which were stunningly presented and tasty, but very expensive for what you got we thought as it was mainly bulked out with cheaper ingredients, you would expect some steak or something on there for £35 each (£70 per platter for 2) Service was very slow, the same as when I came here for breakfast a few months ago despite only a few tables being occupied - drinks took about half an hour to come out. Overall we had a lovely night though 😊
