A delight every time I go to Jaén I make a reservation to eat good rice. Quality and friendliness go hand in hand in this case with gluten-free bread and toast and of course cold beer that is also gluten-free.

It was quite a surprise to find a place in Jaén with such a high level of rice. They have different menus depending on whether you sit in the terrace-bar area or the restaurant area. In our case, we booked at the last minute and there was only room left at the bar, but even so we had no problems ordering any of the restaurant's dishes. Large place, with modern decoration, very cozy. The bar area is all high tables, something uncomfortable if you go with babies. As for the food, we found it simply spectacular. Of the starters, the tuna in three textures, served as a clothesline, is very original, and the tomato with burrata is delicious. I couldn't try the patatas bravas due to the gluten issue, but I know they were of a very high level as well. The rice dishes, a specialty of the house, did not disappoint, bordering on perfection, especially the cheek rice that they prepared for us instead of the oxtail rice. Special mention for the service, they treated us and advised us fantastically, even the cook coming out a couple of times to clarify some doubts about allergens and adapt a couple of dishes on the fly. We will return for sure.
