Aldo has been running the Red House in Landschlacht since 2005. During this time he and his team managed to get into the Pizza Olympus. Aldo won the 'best pizza in Switzerland' award in 2016 and also came home from the World Cup with an award. I know of few pizzerias that offer pizza with whole grain or gluten-free dough. There is a small additional charge for these doughs. The menu: Of course, Italian dishes set the pace and are well chosen and also cover the wishes of vegetarians. If the chef has time, dishes that are not on the menu such as 'Scalopine al Limone' are also possible and these are really tasty. The pasta dishes are in no way overshadowed by the pizzas. The pasta, cooked al dente and the various sauces prove that the chef has mastered his craft. I love the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, simply a delight and the palate wishes for more. The pizzas are the star, the traditional Napoli pizza is offered, a very thin, usually crispy base with a fluffy edge wins every pizza lover. Unfortunately my last one was soft at heart, the fresh buffalo mozzarella and the juicy tomatoes were too much of a good thing with the spicy oil but still a pleasure. In my opinion, the service has not yet reached its zenith, the fact is that communication is sometimes a bit difficult and especially the right doesn't know what the left is doing and there can be misunderstandings. I don't care and I'm leaving again. Quality has its price, in my opinion it is on the upper rung of the price ladder and is still justified. The wine list, Italian wines are the protagonists and the selection of Italian grappas is good. Since I didn't consume any, I won't give any judgment.
