Solo Pasta

The flavors and pasta were all delicious. Especially enjoyed the gluten free pasta and the spicy prawn pasta.

I love this place, the food is very tasty, they also have vegan and gluten-free options and the service from the staff is incredible. As a vegan, I 100% recommend the Vegan pesto and fried tofu, it is really delicious.

I’m coeliac and writing this to protect other gluten-free revellers looking for an enjoyable night out. You know the story that comes next. It’s unfortunate that the owner and waitresses were so lovely, because the meal was not only bland (limited sauce, burnt fried meat portions), but the order was mistaken and I got gluten poisoned. The owner Vanessa made lovely repairs ie no fee, generous gift voucher however the chef refused my request to speak with me (citing poor English) highlighting the same lack of respect and attention to customers that went in to the meal prep process. How on earth stating that I am Coeliac, ordering GF pasta and ending up with a gluten packed sauce happened is baffling. In a switched on hospitality environment, the waiter would check that the order is congruent ie entirely Coeliac friendly and the chef would observe a glitch in the order when the pasta is GF and the sauce is not. The word coeliac was not written or communicated. The order was not read back to us. So many errors. So very lovely emotional repair by the willing staff members but unfortunately my body won’t repair in quite the same manner and the meal (despite the gluten) was most definitely not worth it. Can not wait to cook my own delicious pasta tonight. Beware fellow gluten free folk
