Everything was spectacular. Standouts were the panisse, cauliflower, and flower bread. Many vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free options.

Elegant Turkish cuisine. For our party of 3, we began with 3 of Taksim's special cocktails. To start, we shared a dish of stuffed peppers. Then, as appetizers, we had a warm cauliflower soup, a cold pea and asparagus soup, and a pea salad. All 3 of us had the lamb chop, each cooked as we had ordered. We enjoyed a glass of the Turkish red wine, which accompanied our lamb main course nicely. The restaurant comped our party one Raki Palace pudding for dessert, as it was a friend's birthday celebration. And it was so tasty that we ordered a second pudding. Service at Taksim was excellent. Our dishes arrived at the appropriate pace, neither too quickly, nor too slow. They respected the gluten-free dietary requirements of one of our party. As is the case with restaurants in general these days, related to higher wage and ingredient costs, a dinner at Taksim is not inexpensive. That said, it is a venue to consider for a special occasion.
