Terry Black's Barbecue Lockhart

20/10!! Hands down favorite barbecue all around. We haven't had anything there we didnt like or that wasn't good. The majority of their sides are gluten-free and they are all good. Staff is always super friendly. We love stopping by when we're passing through. Dog friendly in the outside sitting area is a plus when traveling with your fur baby!!

Terry Black's is simply the best bbq in Texas! The meats were perfectly seasoned and smoked, and all the sides were spectacular. Lisa and her staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Our large family has significant dietary restrictions, and Lisa was very knowledgeable regarding the entire menu. She was patient and able to easily assist us with ordering items that meet our dietary restrictions. We were amazed how much was gluten free (especially the sides and sauces), and we were thrilled she encouraged us to try some of the items we would've otherwise overlooked. We will definitely be back the next chance we get.

First time visiting, and I would absolutely return. It's very well run with clear menu options, including DF and Gluten free labels. The green beans and mac n cheese were DELICIOUS! As a previous vegetarian for many years, I'm not the best judge of brisket, but I thought it was delicious. Several drink options, plenty of parking and seating inside and out, 3 sauce options outside in cooler. Patio was very enjoyable in the middle of August. Definitely give them a try!!
