On Saturday my husband and I stopped by Terry Black's BBQ in Dallas. We went around 2 PM to avoid the crowds that so many Texas bbq restaurants have.
They have a marked menu and almost everything is gluten-free, including the sauces. They do have bread but it's serve-yourself by the condiments, silverware and drink machines.
You get in line, tell the staff what you want, they put it on your tray and then you pay before finding yourself a table.
The bbq tasted fantastic but the prices for BBQ are eye watering, especially because it's self-serve.
- 1 beef rib
- 1 lb beef brisket
- 1 pint creamed corn
- 1 pint potato salad
- 2 jalapeños
- 2 cups of water
$116.38
I know it's expensive but it's the price you gotta pay for award winning Texas bbq. It was honestly the best beef rib I've ever had.
Luckily we got two meals out of it.
They threw in a little bit of burnt ends for free because I guess they just liked something about us. They didn't give it to everyone. It was delicious.
