I think this is probably the best Italian spot in Rochester, and that's saying something as I am a huge fan of a lot of the places in town. Specializing mostly in pasta, the "mother sauce" or red sauce here is probably one of the best I've ever had period. It's definitely up there. Has a really nice acidic bite to it that works well with simpler dishes like their gnocchi, which is freshly made in house. I even tried one of their gluten-free pasta choices and it was still really well balanced.
