This picture-postcard pub is warm and welcoming with real ales (including gluten-free) and a real fire. It's also dog-friendly, with plenty of covered outside space. You can order food in the bar, or eat in the restaurant, and in summer there is also an excellent barbecue / grill outside. The menu options include a la carte, daily specials and set price deals with a good selection of gluten-free and vegan dishes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and are always prepared to take the extra steps to ensure you have the best possible experience.

Today we had a delicious vegan and gluten free Sunday roast lunch with lots of very tasty veggies. There is also the option for a vegan Yorkshire pudding that isn’t gluten free. The staff were very friendly and professional, highly recommended in a perfect location overlooking the river.
