The Kitchen at the Imperial

We were looking for a place to gave lunch while visiting Chestertown..we decided to try this restuarant and we were so happy we did..the food was awesome..I had a carb cake which was actually gluten free and my husband had a roast beef sandwich with fries..the fries were the best he ever had..we ended with the chocolate bread pudding which was heaven.

We live in Arlington, VA and recently visited Chestertown, MD. We had dinner at the Imperial Hotel. We ordered take out to eat in the car as we had our dog with us on this road trip so we both ordered gluten free to avoid getting contamination in the car. My husband had the Steak Frites with fries from their dedicated fryer. I wasn't terribly hungry and just wanted veggies so I ordered two of the brussel sprouts from the starter menu. Everything was delicious. The fries were not what I think of when I think of Frites (smaller, less like steak fries and more like regular fries). The sauces were amazing and I really loved the crispiness and sweetness of the brussel sprouts. We will definitely be back again.
