Given that this is priced as it is, I expected a certain level of professionalism and service. I went with a friend for a spa package and left disappointed. The masseuse did an okay job with the massage but talked nonstop. The facial was lovely and while that person also talked nonstop, it was an interesting topic at least. I have no complaints at all about the pedicure - top notch and lovely ladies doing them. However, lunch was positively abysmal. They charge $35 in the day spa package for a "prix fix" lunch but you order off the menu. It's pretty apparent that many of the options don't add up to the $35 you paid upfront. On top of that, I expect a spa/nice hotel to be up to date with allergy needs. I cannot eat gluten - it's not a "preference", it's a must avoid. There were three options for me in total and I went with the baby kale salad. The greens were tough, the chicken breast on top was SO tough that I literally could not cut it, and I ate only half the salad. Our initial waitress was the worst part. When asked what sort of steak cut is on the salad she responded "I don't know" and stared at us. When asked what sort of dessert options there were (prior to ordering lunch) we were told the dessert menu would be available after the lunch was cleared. When we politely asked for further information we were told "sorbet, sweets, and ice cream". And another blank stare. So we asked what were "sweets" and she begrudgingly gave us some ideas. Literally the least helpful staff I've ever encountered. I can't imagine what made her so unwilling to even begin to do her job competently. Thankfully other staff in the restaurant were a bit nicer. In the end, I am never going back for a package again and certainly never stepping foot in that restaurant again.

Wonderful staff, beautiful location! Our organization hosted a daylong training event in the ballroom. Gary, the Director of Sales, helped tremendously in arranging a delicious gluten free meal for me (celiac). I'd highly recommend a visit!
