The Stockyards Steakhouse

Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. We have allergies and she was very knowledgeable and was able to help us order. There was even dessert we could eat. The scallops were so tender and tasty. My salmon was salty as was hobby's elk. None of us liked the Brussels sprouts, which was a disappointment since it's one of our favorites. They needed to be cooked longer and they were very bland. The ribs were just ok. Fall off the bone, but the flavor was nothing special. The NY strip steak was delicious. We all liked the steak fries too. The dessert were definitely the highlight. The gluten free chocolate mouse was so delicious and the texture was amazing. The gluten free crème brûlée was perfect. The dairy free sorbet was highly enjoyed. Even the root beer floor was super delicious. I would got back for the scallops and desert. My son said he would go back for the steak soup and dessert.

I didn't take any food pics (first dinner date lol), but this place is beyond BEYOND. I ordered the bison ribeye, came with scalloped parm taters, grilled asparagus. YUM YUM IN MY TUM! John (shout-out!!) was amazing -- tolerated me asking questions (I'm gluten-free), knew his stuff!! He's was an absolute pleasure, funny, and attentive. Please give John a raise 👏 he was PHENOMENAL
