We booked in for a Stargazing meal package. The service was excellent, it is dog friendly and had excellent choices for coeliacs. Food was delicious, excellent portion sizes. Well worth booking in advance to be certain of a table. The stargazing experience was amazing - we caught a clear night. Will is the most enthusiastic, knowledgeable host. We saw the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, white, blue and gold stars. After a short introductory talk, a picture of the moon through a telescope, we went to the planetarium where the night sky through the seasons is explained in 360. Then we walked down to the many telescopes where Will showed us as many objects as possible. It was probably the best experience I’ve ever been part of. Long after our session was supposed to have ended we were back at the front of the pub seeing Jupiter! We came back to our rental cottage and spent hours watching the Milky Way move across the night sky. We will be back!

Loved this place! I'm Coeliac and they had plenty of GF options on the menu. Beautiful outside seating area too!
