Wild Poppy has a smaller menu and focuses effort on those options and delivers exceptional quality food. Example: the huevos rancheros has an excellent green sauce (tomatillo; not particularly spicy imo), a savory black bean puree, cashew cream (instead of dairy--my gf is lactose-free), etc., topping a tender omelette, on fried corn tortilla, and a generous portion size. They have excellent gluten-free options (I can definitely vouch for the standard strawberry scone today, but we've had gf before and it was good). The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful even though they serve a ton of people. The garden seating is relaxing. ... Wild Poppy is worth including in your trip itinerary if you appreciate quality food.
