Truxton's American Bistro

The food is incredible , I had the gluten-free flatbread, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Honestly, I’ve never had anything here I didn’t like. Everything is consistently delicious, the service is always friendly and on point, and the atmosphere? Just amazing. The music took me back ,it reminded me of home in the best way. There’s something about this place that just feels warm, welcoming, and real. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a cozy, nostalgic vibe , this is the spot. Don’t miss it!

It’s definitely an upscale American dinner. Huge bar. What you would expect on the menu. There were gluten free buns with the burgers. I got the fish tacos without yogurt sauce. They were good, little soggy but that’s sorta to be expected with juicy fish. There was a skewer through the tacos that ripped a hole in the tortilla; not necessary. The beans and rice were very well seasoned; that was an unexpected plus. Not much for me in the desert department; full of gluten and dairy. Service was typical. Pleasant enough. Over all not bad just typical.
