Is this franchise operated? Does it mean that the ingredients get compromised? That’s what I wonder when I came to this spot. Yes, I am comparing two joints (del mar) and this place. I was hoping for the same tasty experience but came up pretty darn short. The potatoes were dried out the vegan omelette is underwhelming (bro, why do vegans eat this tasteless synthetic stuff?!?) with little flavor and the Gluten Free French toast was not as advertised and dried out (overcooked?) It was supposed to be cinnamon raisin toast and well, there was no raisins. To me, it looked like two pieces of dark toast cut in half with the toppings. I ate that up in no time, so small.
Good:
-The coffee and service is great! ⭐️
-The a la carte eggs were to be expected and good. ⭐️
-The kids loved their French toast! ⭐️
I mean yeah you put a boatload of syrup and marshmallow’s and chocolate and whatever sugar bomb you desire. I can see why they can’t go wrong with this.
-Ambiance is open and comfortable
Guys, 17$ bucks a plate plus a la carte I expect better from this place. let’s go!
