Mitchell's Restaurant

We stopped here on our road trip. I got the gluten and dairy free oatmeal and the house special, which is fried shredded potato with pepper, onion, and ham. It comes with shredded cheese, but I did not get the cheese. While they don't have a dedicated gluten-free flat, they accommodated my allergies. The guys got breakfast specials. The portions are huge, and the cost is reasonable. The service was friendly and attentive.

Sometimes I'm given the wrong order but overall the food is okay. I hope they offer more gluten free options over time. They do have gluten free toast at least. Other nearby diners have gluten free waffles and pancakes including gluten free beligan waffle and can make gluten free French toast. It's kid friendly and they have walls of coloring pages from kids art.
