I'm surprised by the low rating of this restaurant. My experience was very positive, from the food to the service. This Italian restaurant on the upper east side deserves more recognition. The food was excellent, from the complimentary well-seasoned bread to the perfectly toasted bruschetta. The risotto al porcini was one of the best mushroom risottos I've had, and the tiramisu was delicious. The waitstaff was attentive and the service was prompt. The restaurant's ambiance could be improved, but the food is the main attraction. I recommend trying the zucchini fritti.
