Delicious and interesting food, with good Gluten Free options

Fantastic restaurant! We visited the day before lockdown 2.0 kicked in and were so glad we got the opportunity to go. Food was absolutely fantastic, and there were some lovely extra touches like complimentary canapés which were also delicious. Everything here seems so well thought through and prepared - we called to book and informed them one of our party is coeliac and cannot eat gluten or dairy - when we arrived they had prepared a menu marked up to indicate everything she could eat (and there was LOADS for her to choose from - usually gluten free options are limited), and also indicated how they could modify other items on the menu to be gluten and dairy free. We also had a toddler with us and they served provided us with plastic crockery and cutlery for her meal which was such a thoughtful touch. The waiter serving us was incredibly attentive and professional - we felt so well looked after. They had good covid measures in place and we felt like we were in very good hands. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back next time we visit Windermere.
