Such a fun and delicious spot right in downtown New Haven! I stopped by T-Swirl for the first time and was super impressed. The crepes are made with a rice flour batter, so they’re naturally gluten-free and come out thin, crispy, and beautifully wrapped like a cone—perfect for eating on the go or dining in. I ordered the Strawberry Nutella and the Crème Brûlée with Banana—both were amazing! The strawberry Nutella was packed with fresh fruit and the perfect amount of sweetness. The crème brûlée crepe had a creamy custard with that classic caramelized sugar top, and the banana just made it even better. Total dessert heaven! Ordering was really easy with their touchscreen kiosks, and even though it got busy, the service was fast and friendly. The inside is clean, modern, and cozy, though it’s more of a casual grab-and-go vibe than a full sit-down meal experience. Definitely coming back to try more flavors. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something different, fresh, and fun!

All the crepes can be made gluten free since they use rice flour for the batter. Make certain to consult with an employee who knows which fillings are / are not gluten free since some are better informed than others. Most recently I had the gluten free Matcha Azuki Bean crepe (i.e. without custard, nuts, or pocky sticks), which tasted amazing! The chocolate gelato is also heavenly!
