My husband and I had great meals and drinks. However you'd think if a place is offering gluten free options that the server would have some idea of what that means. They admitted they had no idea. So I asked for just a side of grilled chicken for my child who has a wheat allergy. Reiterated this to the server when I saw it wasn't noted when taking down the order. When the chicken came out it was in a sauce so I again asked if it was the wheat/gluten free sauce and the server didn't know. They brought back an identical plate a little while later. Unfortunately we just couldn't risk the chance of having to have a hospital visit emergency and using an epi pen since they clearly were not confident on the preparation of the chicken.
I would give our actual service 1 star but the bartender also came to our table, made great conversation and helped out with us trying new drinks which was really nice. He was very attentive and engaging. We may go back in the future but just the 2 of us for a date night rather than as a family. Pretty disappointing since there's not many places where we can safely eat out together.
