Relish on Addison

It’s overpriced and while it’s set out nicely and gets top marks for atmosphere, the level of service here needs to be improved and of a higher standard and quality. I found the interactions when being seated, served and going to pay all without even a hint of pleasantness. Also, I was quite explicit with my waitress that I was gluten and lactose intolerant to which she responded the calamari was the only thing could be cooked in a way to accomodate me. The salad it came with though quite obviously had dairy in it (it a had a very distinct smell of yoghurt and or cheese). This is my second time in a space of a number of years visiting this restaurant where the service has been consistently bad. I certainly won’t be returning for a third.

Great food and Great service We held a small party of about 25 people for a family birthday so I ordered from the finger food menu at Relish. We had a wide selection of finger food options (about 25 in all) to choose from ranging from mini beef burgers, prawn wontons, duck pancakes, mushroom and spinach risotto cakes, and bruschetta to start. We were very happy with the delicious canapes and our guests frequently expressed their compliments on the excellent quality of the food. We had a couple of guests who required gluten free food and the restaurant catered to their dietary needs. The great food was one of the highlights of a beautiful family occasion. We chose Relish on Addison because we have been visiting this restaurant ever since it opened at the top end of Shellharbour village and we have always found the staff to be friendly and attentive, the food is consistently first rate and the service is exceptional. All in all, this makes for a superb dining experience.
