Overall, this place was good. When I go back to Estes, I might try somewhere else but I am happy I tried it.
I ordered the trout dip for an appetizer. It was creamy and smooth! Everyone tried it and liked it. I also ordered two Moscow mules on happy hour. The first one was much more bitter than the first, so there was an inconsistency in the drinks.
Next I ordered a gluten free bun with an Elk burger, the "make your own." It was really good! I just felt that there was too much juice from the onions and it made the bottom of my burger completely soggy. That was off putting and I eventually stopped eating that one part.
I would say all in all it was a good experience! There are gluten free options and the dogs were allowed on the patio.
