Verdant Bistro

Verdant Bistro is an absolute hidden gem in Hays, KS. Tucked away in non-descript office complex, there is a spacious atmosphere for dining. Our waitress was very attentive, considerate, and friendly. The menu is trim. We appreciate the plainly-marked gluten-free options. Everything is exquisite, from the simple yet elegant table settings to the presentation of plates. They make some food items in house, like the focaccia, with the chef's own spin. Other items and ingredients are locally sourced. The prices might dissuade some, but for a stylish and amazing dining experience, you need not look any further than Verdant Bistro.

We had a group of four that enjoyed dinner at Verdant Bistro. The atmosphere was both upscale and relaxing. No screens or loud music. You could enjoy the conversation. The service was impeccable. Our server was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes and could answer any of our questions. The menu also included vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. We had an appetizer, four different entrees and three different desserts; and all the dishes were absolutely delicious! The presentation was elegant and beautiful! Everything is made in-house and sourced locally. The bill for the food came to under $100. This is definitely a hidden gem in Hays! We will be back and recommending it to all of our friends!
