Fries and other fried foods are not cooked in a separate fryer, so not coeliac safe - separate utensils but no separate preparation processes. Really helpful and kind management and staff, but we chose not to risk it. (We have eaten here prior to a coeliac diagnosis in our family and it’s truly delicious!!)
Being a coeliac I am extremely cautious when eating out. These guys are fantastic! The signature burger was juicy and omg 🤤. They replaced the bun with gf bread and toasted it. It was so good! The fries were so crispy! I was the only coeliac in my group but everyone loved their food. The service was so friendly and quick!
Excellent communication from the kitchen, staff and management. Dedicated GF fryer for chips and all other “GF” labelled fried foods. Staff knowledgeable about sauces and all condiments and inclusions. Delicious food!!
Beautifully appointed venue, we actually joined as social members at $5 for 3 year memberships, which gave us immediate discounts on our meals and drinks, which more than covered the membership fees. We had delicious fresh seafood and warm Thai beef salad, all of which were gluten-free, which was wonderful 👏

We contacted the owner who clarified that they do have a Gluten Free fryer safe for coeliacs, he advised there had been new staff on the night we attended. He was lovely and was personally going to rectify the issue. This is great news, as this is one of the only coeliac safe fryers in the area.

Previously they had a seperate gluten free fryer, safe for coeliac, this is no longer the case. Very annoyed.
I was excited to eat here as they have gluten free pancakes. After walking around and not finding any empty tables that didn’t have dirty dishes on them I ended up doing it myself. We waited 45 minutes for our pancake stacks. When they came I had to ask for more silverware and maple syrup. When we finally got them from the unfriendly waitress I had to ask her to take the previous customers dirty dishes. I’m pretty sure she rolled her eyes. I saw many customers asking for the their tables to be cleared so they could sit at their chosen tables.
The pancakes were yummy but we won’t be back after the poor customer service and long wait. It was a normal Monday afternoon. I expected better. Or at least to be told how long the wait would be.
A great find on the coast. With an extensive Gluten Free selection with most of the menu being able to be made GF! Great service and you can't beat the view!
We were visiting Coolangatta for a holiday and decided on Pizza for the night. Unfortunately the closest one to us was closed because of lack of staff. We ordered with Coolangatta Pizzeria and was so impressed. We rang them directly and delivery was free as this was our first order. It arrived with a smile and briskly. The pizza was delicious and impressively my wife's pizza with a gluten free base was similarly excellent. Well done. No problems in fully recommending this business. Good luck!!
Great dining experience - atmosphere is lovely, white table cloths, fancy and attentive wait staff, greek music, christmas decorations and lovely decor - a well oiled machine with people who know what they're doing! We had the bbq baby octopus (yum!!), skandali (snapper and garlic prawn topper), steak, veal and mushroom, gluten free prawn pasta, creme brulee and tiramisu - all very yummy, well sized and reasonably priced! Gluten free options amazing - most items available gf!
During our stay at Rainbow Bay we came across this cafe and so glad we did! Went there daily for my morning matcha latte which was really good, along with fresh juices and the food was also amazing. Great place for dietary requirements, gluten free, dairy free with a big selection from the menu. One morning I purchased the smashed avo on sourdough and asked for diary free, it came out with a dairy free feta which they said the chef made himself from soy milk..it was delicious! Great service with friendly staff.
We were a party of 10 on holidays and wanted a BYO. The restaurant was very accommodating and efficient with our orders and food arrived quickly. The food was pretty authentic and was tasty and well cooked. We had chicken satay which was a stand out for the peanut sauce and flame grilled chicken. We also had good fish cakes and spring rolls for entrees. Green curry chicken was also very good. I recommend Rama 5 for an enjoyable meal out in an area that has far too many mediocre retaurants that cater to tourists. They also cater very well for gluten intolerant people.
I had the Turkish eggs with gluten-free bread and the bread was the absolute stand-out part of the dish. Most cafes give you plain, sliced gluten-free bread as a substitute (like you'd buy from the supermarket), but this was a genuine [gluten-free] focaccia bread, stuffed with olives and nice and salty.
The best toasties and açai bowls. Gluten and dairy free options and Vegan cheese. Haven’t had a breaky that good in a long time. And the staff are LOVELY!
Being a coeliac, we never go out for dinner. Prior to booking I checked the menu and was pleasantly surprised to see there were a lot of items that fit my dietary requirements. Upon arrival, the waitress spoke to me, took me through the menu, ensured that the chef would take care to not cross contaminate and gave suggestions.
The food, the service, the drinks, everything was absolutely amazing. We will be back to try everything on the menu! Even if you’re not coeliac, the menu is phenomenal. I can’t thank the chef enough for taking extra care whilst preparing my meal, it’s the little things that are big things, that make for happy, returning customers. Thanks team!
Everything was delicious, including their very reasonably priced cocktails, and the service was super friendly. Lots of gluten free entrees and mains. We will definitely be back!
Went to dinner over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was exceptional and authentically tasty.

The menu is pretty much all gluten free which was fantastic for our dietary requirements too.
10/10 would absolutely recommend especially to satisfy the Mexican cuisine cravings.
Bougie, sexy interiors and vibe. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. They were able to make dietary/allergy adjustments (dairy free and gluten free) without feeling like I was missing out. Definitely recommend for a sunset view over the beach with drinks and dinner.
