Amazing tasting food with plenty of coeliac safe gluten free options. I could even grab sushi from the sushi train, which was amazing! The soy sauce was even gluten free! Lovely staff too.
I always try to make my way here to get some gluten free pancakes when I'm in Melbourne. Today I was looked after by Deb, who although was busy working hard, she was friendly and efficient. I'm grateful for getting my food and drink in good time and that the toilets were very clean!!!!
Genuinely the most amazing experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Yummy good, good service and they put on a birthday song for my partner too. It was such a good vibes and I couldn’t recommend it more. 10/10, will be coming back again.
They also had gluten free options for my celiac friend!!!! - the naan bread was GF!! SO COOL!!!
Love Fontys! Our regular pizza haunt. Vegan & coeliacs taken great care of with the best GF pizza in the world. And those 500ml Peroni - the perfect accompaniment to a classic Margherita. Dirk and his team really know how to take care of their diners. Keep up the great work folks! In the meantime I’m off to have a glass of Pinot and a chat to Caelen at Rubi Mammas around the corner. Another fave Balnarring haunt.
We came for a late lunch and had a few smaller dishes, they were all fantastic. Everything was so delicious, we had the focaccia with pumpkin tahini, the romana beans, chipotle chicken and the arancini. Some of the tastiest food we’ve had in Melbourne. It’s a great location on the beach and has a nice vibe. Plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options.

Fantastic coffee on house made almond milk. Food is delicious. Lots of gluten free options. I love the zucchini fritters made with chickpea and rice flour mixed with polenta. I think though my favourite is the mushrooms on house made pumpkin polenta bread 😋
Grilld Waurn Ponds have changed their gluten free burger buns. They are dry and crumbly now. I used to like their gf buns but now are awful especially considering the price. Not sure if other Grilld franchises have changed theirs or not. Also, waited 45 minutes for our food.
On Wednesday 15th May 2024 I went there for Lunch with Pauline and I had the HFC Classic Chicken Burger, which just melted in my mouth. Pauline had the Mighty Melbourne Gluten Free Burger, which she really enjoyed. We shared the snack chips. It was extremely nice of Alex to give me 2 free burger vouchers since they forgot to make the order last week when I came with Chelsea on Monday 6th May 2024.
Plenty of tasty celiac safe, gluten free options available.
Absolutely blown away by the service we received from Georgia, she was an absolute gem from start, attention to detail, and natural hospitality made us feel completely at home. She kept our drinks topped up all night without us even needing to ask, which made the entire evening feel so smooth and relaxed. Amazing recommendations for the seafood and steak, knows the menu so well and helped with dietaries.
Grill’d Point Cook is a fantastic spot for anyone seeking delicious, health-conscious options. The food is superb, offering a variety of calorie-conscious and gluten-free choices without compromising on taste. The burgers are crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, making it a standout for those with dietary preferences. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service only enhance the experience. I highly recommend Grill’d Point Cook to anyone looking for a satisfying and mindful dining experience.
Writing this as I eat as I’m seriously impressed - this is definitely the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. No corn in the base as is usual for gluten free bases. Costs $4 extra but very much worth it - I enjoyed the prosciutto pizza, delicious tomato base and prosciutto with fresh mozzarella. Very glad I stopped in on my way to the snow, great service and food!
From the moment we walked into Suburban Rooftop, we were treated like VIPs. The customer service was hands-down some of the best I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. Every staff member we encountered—from the host to the servers—was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
We arrived a little early for our reservation, but the hostess was incredibly accommodating and got us seated with a great view almost immediately. Our server came over right away, introduced herself with a smile, and took the time to walk us through the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. She checked in often, but never in an intrusive way—just the perfect balance of attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our evening.
Even when the restaurant started getting busier, the quality of service never slipped. Our water glasses were always full, empty plates cleared promptly, and our food was brought out at just the right pace. The manager even stopped by our table to ask how everything was, which really showed that they care about their guests' experiences.
One of the highlights was how accommodating the staff were to dietary needs—our friend has a gluten allergy, and the kitchen went above and beyond to customize a dish for her without hesitation.
It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a priority at Suburban Rooftop. Not only is the food excellent and the ambiance stunning, but the people truly make it a five-star experience. In an industry where great service can be hard to come by, Suburban Rooftop sets the bar high. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just grabbing dinner with friends, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back soon!
This restaurant offers the best tasting food in town, not to mention it has a really cool vibe. Our family has various dietary needs, such as vegetarian gluten free and lactose intolerance and they cater for all of it.
Amazing fish shop, the Gluten free range is absolutely amazing, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. One very happy customer definitely going to be a regular customer 😀
It was an amazing experience. We did try a couple of other outlets but I would give Cranbourne top priority.
Staff were very great and service was quick. However, we were there on weekdays. Weekend might be something different!
We ordered everything gluten free.
The pizza base was well cooked and delicious.
Gluten free pasta was good too.
We surely revisit!

New and very happy customer. Highly recommended by another local F&C shop that doesn’t offer gluten free. The GF options were fantastic and everything we ordered was fresh, tasty and generous portions. Will definitely be back.
Wow really impressed wanted a light lunch
Calamari and bowl chips really good .
IPA beer brewed was really good.
Walked away happy
Everything was above expectations.
Keep It up.
Ps wife was also impressed gluten free beer on tap
Absolutely blown away! For what started as an impulse visit ended in black sheep becoming one of the best eating experiences I've ever had. Menu is well rounded with plenty of gluten free and vegan options, service is absolutely lovely, huge shoutout to Rose for lovely table service and suggestions, hats off to everyone involved
Great selection of pizzas. Amazing flavours. We had vegan, gluten free people in our group. Staff made everything so smooth. San David veg pizza was the best choice for me as am vegetarian. Great wine selection as well. We will definitely be back to try other tasty flavours. Highly recommend
Unreal! This coeliac safe burger and sweet potato fries were amazing. Arrived very quickly and I really appreciate the extra care for gluten free safety. YUM
Manager is very rude , quality is substandard. Husband ordered gluten free meal and only received 1 small pancake.. valued at the price of $28 when he asked the manager why it was only one pancake in the serving he was shamed and made to feel bad for having a health condition! Won’t becoming back
First actual ramen restaurant I've been too and wasn't disappointed, have coeliac disease so had to get something gluten free but wasn't disappointed in the quality of the dish. I got the terriaki salmon and was so good. What a place
Major Disappointment. During the first course I asked for bread and was told that they didn’t have enough as they only have a certain amount of gluten-free bread. During the second course, I complain there was too much mayonnaise, and the waiter told me this happens all the time. During the third course, I sent the fish back as it was tough and salty. The waiter said the chef will now make it without salt. I can’t wait for the desert. $135 tasting menu that taste was poor.
St. Ali Coffee Roasters in the departure hall (after customs) is a nice place to chill and have coffee/tea/snacks. It has a beat and may get crowded. Nonetheless, people do come and go. The gluten-free fudge brownie goes very well with a hot mocha coffee. The staff is also friendly and nice. Great way to say goodbye to Melbourne with this cup of coffee and snacks before departure.
Chicken bites came cold, dry, and tough. Had to ask for it to be made again fresh - second time was hot and more tender.
Burger was average. I ordered with gluten free buns but they weren't great - ended up taking them off.
$30 for burger and chicken bites is a bit steep though??
Also bought the $10 chips for 4 weeks deal but they told me it takes around 2 hours to load into my app. And so I couldn't get chips that day 🙃 so will try again later tonight or tomorrow...
Great food, the staff did everything possible to get our orders ready and gluten free for us.
Tara did an amazing job handling business during busy times.
Will be back!
Ordered Gluten free garlic bread and Pizza
Absolute garbage, if you have ever bitten into plaster board that’s what you will get
Garlic bread hard as nails, for Melbourne cuisine this is beyond disappointing.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zambrero's, and my experience was elevated significantly thanks to a remarkable employee named Jack. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and the enticing aroma of fresh ingredients, but it was Jack's exceptional service that truly stood out.
Jack greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly demeanour, instantly making me feel welcome. His enthusiasm for the menu was contagious, and he took the time to walk me through the various options, highlighting the unique flavours and combinations available. As someone who can be indecisive when faced with a plethora of delicious choices, I greatly appreciated his patience and expertise.
What particularly impressed me was Jack's knowledge about dietary preferences and restrictions. He was attentive to my needs and offered insightful suggestions for gluten-free and vegetarian options without missing a beat. His genuine interest in ensuring I had a great dining experience was evident, and he went above and beyond to customise my order to perfection.
When it came time to prepare my meal, Jack's attention to detail and skill were on full display. He crafted a burrito bowl for me with precision, ensuring each ingredient was fresh and proportionate. The result was a delicious, satisfying meal that exceeded my expectations.
Beyond the food, Jack's positive attitude and excellent customer service made my visit memorable. He checked in with me after I started eating to ensure everything was to my liking and even offered a few extra tips on how to enhance the flavors with their various sauces and sides. It's rare to encounter someone who is not only proficient at their job but also genuinely passionate about creating a wonderful experience for their customers.
In addition to Jack's stellar service, the overall ambiance of Zambrero's was inviting and clean. The modern decor and comfortable seating provided a pleasant environment to enjoy my meal. The restaurant was well-maintained, and the staff seemed to work seamlessly together, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
In conclusion, my visit to Zambrero's was outstanding, thanks in large part to Jack. His exceptional service, combined with the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, makes Zambrero's a standout choice for anyone looking for a great dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by and, if you're lucky, you'll get to experience Jack's top-notch hospitality firsthand.
A varied brunch menu (many interesting egg dishes) & a great selection of cakes. The orange cake was gluten-free & lush, but could have been sweeter. Very subjective :-)
The rest of us ate main courses, all of which were good. Mine was chicken & mushroom risotto, nicely cooked & presented. Excellent flavor. Caesar Salad is a generous serve, prawn linguine smelled good.
Service is polite, enthusiastic, very friendly... & incompetent. On Sunday afternoon I am very laid back. The wait staff are all late teens- but even allowing for that - oh my. We were delivered other people's dinner or drinks not once or twice, but six times. I think three different waiters did this.
I've been a waiter. We didn't complain (they were genuinely honest mistakes, really nice staff, it was brunch, let's get over ourselves). But six times?
I checked the bill carefully. It was right. We tipped :-) But check that the plate you receive is the one you actually ordered.
Would I go back? Absolutely
We attended 1915 for mothers day we had not heard of the venue before and booked at last minute not knowing what to expect. We were very happy with the 4 course meal with a variety of meals throughout the meal catered to one of the party being Celiac which was an easy fix with the whole menu being GF any way. The courses were well spaced out and of amazing quality. It was our first visit to the venue dont think it will be our last.
