Family-run place. People here are so kind! I was able to eat a gluten free pizza being celiac and they are very careful with cross contamination. Loved our lunchtime here and will definitely come back. Thanks :)
Favorites: vegetales al pastor (veggie) quesadilla, tortilla soup, potato and bean chipotle taco, and horchata to drink. Only a few tables, but a cute casual spot. Good portion sizes, goid vegetarian options, and most things are gluten free.
Not too saucy. Hypoallergenic. Offer gluten free soy sauce. Remade a shrimp meal for us when we noticed the shrimp was battered. Really lovely menu. Pad Thai, curries, tom yum soup etc. Protein selection for meals: Tofu, Chicken , beef. Small bathroom; atleast they have one. No parking lot. Park on street.
They give Yonge Street a run for their money! Authentic Persian cuisine. Great food (very high quality; they don’t skip anything). Great music, hospitable and dignified. Buttery, saffron, eggy, juicy. They are aware of allergies. On their menu they note the meals that contain gluten, eggs, walnuts, and are vegan. They have a *special* meal every day of the week for lunch. A party menu. Appetizers, salads, kebab menu, other meals, soups, deserts.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ok - “Snack Shack” but good size meals! I had beef tacos for lunch (3 in an order on gluten free corn tortillas, AMEN!) and was stuffed. Everything here is homemade with love. And delicious.
Ordered a cinnamon bun and cookies & cream donut to go and HOLY HANNAH that cinnamon bun can feed a family of 4!
This place has a “Cheers” vibe (aging myself here… eek), everyone in the neighbourhood loves them, and I can see why. 👏👏👏
