My husband is from Texas and said it was the best burger he’s had in Canada. For me as a celiac, I had a lettuce bun burger and the fries are in a dedicated fryer. Server was knowledgeable and I felt safe. Fantastic experience, we’ll be back. Thank you!

I have been to the cafe times in the last several months. What an incredible place and incredible mission they have. Even if you don't want to adopt a pet, it is wonderful just to sit and watch their antics. The staff/volunteers are friendly, knowledgeable and honest about the cats. And how purrfect they have a wide range of ages, as not everyone wants a kitten. Our daughter adopted an older cat several months ago and he is perfect. Now we are looking to adopt and will not go anywhere else but here. As an aside, their coffee is incredible and what an absolute delight for me to find a delicious, dairy free gluten free Nanaimo bar! Their store is fantastic as well. My daughter's cat heartily approves of the catnip toys. Thank you for great food, great customer service and providing a much needed service for theses beautiful cats.

Caution: if you need gluten-free food. I called to make sure that the ginger and garlic stir-fry with shrimp was gluten-free, and was assured that it was. After eating the meal, I started having a reaction of gluten-intolerance...still progressing 4 days later.

Absolutely amazing service. The lady helping us was incredibly patient and helpful. I now have to avoid gluten, and am weary of eating out. However, the precautions the staff take here are very reassuring. She changed her gloves, and wrapped the tortilla and burrito in parchment paper before putting it on the hot press to avoid cross contamination. I greatly appreciated it, and am ready to come back. Be careful which proteins you select, because only a few are gluten free. The gluten free tortilla tasted like a regular tortilla, it was just less full than a regular burrito because it rips easily.
