A unique place in Carcassone to enjoy a wide variety of delicious gluten-free sweet and savory gallettes. Very close to Gambetta Square, the restaurant is small but very cozy and the staff is friendly and understands Spanish, so there are no problems asking for any clarification about ingredients and allergens. The prices are affordable and the gallettes are generous. Given the size of the premises and the influx of people, it is advisable to make a reservation, and also be careful with the service hours. Highly recommended.
We have eaten €37 menus. It was stated in the menu what dishes a celiac could eat. It is appreciated that they are sensitive to this problem, something that we have not seen in many other places. Just for that important detail I give it five stars for service. The dishes have been generous, and well presented. The friendly treatment. The price of the menu, without drinks, is written on the menu, so it is clear what you are going to pay.
The exquisite salads. The chicken skewer is a traditional skewer. The ice creams are very rich and tasty. The bad thing is that they say they have air conditioning and they don't. Finally we went outside, in the shade. It was good but it was a bit hot. But overall it was a good experience and the staff is very friendly. They speak some Spanish and that makes things easier. The prices are not high and it has nice views. They have gluten free options.
Super friendly & helpful service, delicious food and (even better) a very inclusive, varied menu with multiple vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options clearly labelled. It felt like a really homely, local atmosphere, with reasonable prices too.

We had the most wonderful dining experience at this tucked away, hidden gem! Well worth finding. I think it was one the best meals that I have ever had. They were able to help guide me to their Gluten Free options as well, which were amazing. They have a charming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
Our hosts were very kind. It was a magical evening despite the thunder, lightning and rain!
Apologies with delay... we visited hear back in May. We had the most amazing meal and to say the least the staff is what made it such a memorable experience even though it was extremely busy nothing was to much bother.. I'm coeliac and needed gluten free and the were very accommodating.
We certainly will be coming back.. August time..

As a gluten free vegan, it can be incredibly difficult to find food while travelling through France, particularly on a Sunday afternoon! Eat Salad Carcassonne was a gem of a find amongst all the closed shops. The owner was so friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about offering a professional, healthy, hygienic and efficient service. The decor was lovely, covid safety was high tech, atmosphere was buzzing, and the food... I ate more than my body could fit because it was so moreish and delicious. As its so hard for me to find appropriate meals for my diet here, I had to rave about it :). I had a rice, rocket base with added roasted peppers, courgette, aubergine, crispy onions, olives, nuts, shredded carrot and corn, topped with a tasty soy dressing (soy might contain gluten but I risked it!) We found this place by chance and it was a success because they served us at 2:30 p.m. and they handled gluten intolerances.
At first, when we ordered, they served us the food with bread and crispy onion, but when we complained, the person in charge resolved it without a problem by taking out the dishes again and everything was perfect without gluten.

We were recommended to eat here and we checked the reviews but were apprehensive of how positive they seemed, however after having eaten there we now understand why they were so good. The food was delicious and fresh and the owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming.
