Gluten-free pizza light and very very tasty, so much so that while eating it I asked myself several times if it was actually gluten-free!
4/5 stars for the service due to the 40 minute wait for the gluten-free pizza because the pizza chef was very busy (also due to take-out orders), which however was announced to us when ordering.
Really delicious and cheap pizzas (considering the usual prices for gluten-free)!
Very good and pleasant experience!
Paradise for those who are intolerant to gluten and lactose, but also excellent for those who, lucky for them, are "normal". Huge selection of pizzas and doughs, plenty of toppings and reasonable prices. A tip? La Gonzaga, also prepared with lactose-free mozzarella. Efficient and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
Gluten-free dough could be improved but they were very knowledgeable on the subject. Excellent table service (it was a boy). The menu specifies that separate bills are not made but at the cash register (there was a girl) I asked if it was possible, for work reasons, to have a separate bill just for me not for each person and I was told, arrogantly, that I should have asked before because the receipt was already pre-set. I asked as soon as I arrived at the cash register so I don't understand how sooner I should have asked. He certainly didn't want to cancel at the cash register and reply because we hadn't paid yet
I won't go back
I can't help but give 5 stars
Unfortunately for health reasons I find myself having to follow a gluten-free diet
In this place I found first of all super kind and helpful staff and then, very importantly, I found many gluten-free products that were really very, very good
If you are celiac or have intolerances this place is for you....
We have been there several times for breakfast but I will definitely try it sooner or later for lunch too
Exceptional gluten-free and well-filled pizza, exquisite and kind staff. I was a little down about my own business and eating your delicious pizza cheered me up! Thank you
Business lunch which I attended for the first time in this place, given that we were a large number of diners they placed us on the external veranda protected by plastic tarpaulins and a good number of heating mushrooms which made the climate comfortable, indeed in some during lunch the heat seemed excessive. I tasted gluten free pizza as an appetizer and then moved on to a risotto with cuttlefish and in succession fish skewers, all obviously respecting my intolerance, and as a closing, a creme brulee to complete the lunch... all well managed by two waiters who alternated in the service of 5 tables. I will definitely keep this place in mind to try new gluten free pizzas!!
We had dinner in this truly delicious place like the dishes it offers. Very interesting original Palestinian cuisine. You can range from dishes full of flavor to delicate dishes all based on vegetables. Excellent selection of traditional drinks (the house digestive is excellent) and Arabic beers! All dishes are abundant with options also suitable for celiacs. Value for money (also considering that you eat in the center of Brescia) almost unbeatable. Definitely worth returning even just for a nice apricena.
Excellent cuisine with very good quality raw materials. I was very pleased to find a wide selection of gluten-free dishes. The service was also excellent, prepared also in recommending wines.
Delicious, gluten-free Breton galette! The beef in oil is also excellent. The place is well-kept, in a very beautiful square in Brescia. Great experience!
Last night I went to Mexicali in Brescia, a place that opened in 2018 and is located on the outskirts of the historic center.
It is a large structure, divided into several rooms and with an outdoor area to be used in the summer.
This characteristic leads to not feeling too much mess during dinner and being able to enjoy the experience with more serenity, also because each area is welcoming, furnished with references to Mexico and, at the same time, is bright and well-kept. I found this restaurant well suited to birthdays, family dinners, private parties, aperitifs and even after dinner. So much so that at the table next to mine there was a family who had organized a surprise birthday for one of their members.
As can already be deduced from the name, here you eat Mexican and Tex Mex cuisine with proposals prepared individually by their collaborators starting from the raw material and preparing each component of the various dishes.
The menu is varied and ranges from meat, fish, vegetable (including many vegan dishes) and offers a dedicated menu even for the little ones.
I admit that I had already studied their offer on the site and I was struck by the large offer of cocktails, the wine list concentrated on Mexican products, the various offers divided according to the dishes (Tex-Mex, fajitas, parilla, tacos, burritos, meat, hamburgers...) because, for each type there are so many offers with typical, different ingredients that can really accommodate customers with different tastes.
A great aspect that I had not gleaned from the site but which they kindly explained to me is that almost all of their dishes (and there are quite a few) can also be had in a lactose-free, gluten-free and totally vegetable version precisely due to the fact that these are express dishes and entirely cooked by them from the beginning.
I admit that it was hard to choose and that I wasn't able to try everything I wanted because each course, as well as being tasty, is also plentiful. Nice and warm... in fact I will come back to try other dishes like the burritos.
I started with the Chili Nachos, a dish to share with my family. Abundant, warm, tasty and stimulate conviviality while eating one taco after another.
Then I tried the Fajitas Combo which is a meat dish with peppers and other ingredients, cooked on the grill, and then it was up to me to compose the "piadina" also deciding which sauces I wanted.
I couldn't resist the tacos and I was really undecided between which ones to choose so, thanks to the My tacos option, I was able to choose 3 different types. Among the 8 proposals, I chose to go with meat: de carnitas, pork tacos and de chicken. They may seem similar but the textures, internal ingredients and flavors were really different and allowed me to discover different products.
My daughter enjoyed the All American Hamburger... and even there the choice was difficult but I'm just writing that she didn't want to leave even a corner, including the fries.
Well, another point in their favor is certainly the varied possibility of choosing side dishes which is often not found in many businesses.
Then it was time for dessert. The Churros with chocolate or dulce de leche are inevitable while, also offering vegan options such as fresh pineapple, I decided to treat myself to the Tequilamisù... I can let you know that I would have gladly eaten one more.
In the drinks area I really struggled to choose also because I was also intrigued by the alcohol free offers; in the end I opted for sangria, an “El Diablo” cocktail, a draft beer and a bottled beer of Mexican origin.
Instead, although they also have a list of particular coffees, I went with the classic... but I will not fail to return and try both the dishes that I physically couldn't enjoy (being full) and also other cocktails and coffees.
The final touch, not to be underestimated, was the service: youthful, honest, competent and helpful.
Who knows, maybe next time I'll find some of you and we'll toast Mexico together!
Very nice location. Staff available and attentive to customer needs. suitable for both lactose and gluten intolerants. Prices proportionate to the dishes offered. Outdoor garden. Well maintained and cared for
A pearl in the center of Brescia. Delightful place with large outdoor space and two internal rooms. Friendly staff and very attentive to customer needs, especially gluten-free (both in the dining room and in the kitchen). EXCELLENT value for money. If you're in the area, stop by, it's really worth it!
Restaurant located in Borgo Trento with a simple and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes are well prepared, the raw materials are of a high standard and well treated (beef in special oil, as well as the belly). Allergens are well reported (I have celiac disease and didn't have any problems). Although the restaurant was full, probably due to the division of the spaces, there was no annoying noise. We were placed in a room where only our table was located, which made the evening with friends even more special. Parking along the street was found without difficulty. I recommend it without a shadow of a doubt.

Nice little place in the centre. The guys in the room deserve 10 for their courtesy in welcoming and for their availability. I was able to order 2 gluten-free first courses, which is not at all a given... the only flaw, half an hour after ordering, I was told that the crab wasn't there... I was very disappointed, because from the reviews I read it was their flagship first course and I had chosen to dine right here for the crab first course... so I found it a serious miss. Furthermore, the waiting times were excessive, even understanding that it was gluten-free pasta... over 1 hour of waiting even though there were few other tables.
The spaghetti with lemon is very good, but if I may say so...in my opinion a little too sour, the dish should be balanced out a little by decreasing the acidity a little or increasing the quantity of prawn, which being sweet mitigates the taste of lemon. With the latter they recovered greatly, both in terms of timing and quality. The fried food was excellent, not greasy at all, and crunchy. The octopus was excellent... the spicy note of the anduja was spot on.
I'm really sorry I can't give 5 stars... but I'm sure they'll make up for it next time with the crab.
Value for money appropriate to the quality of the raw material and the location.
Very pleasant place that offers good quality Tuscan schiacciata, tasty even the gluten-free version, I don't pass by the Via Veneto area very often but when there is an opportunity it is certainly an excellent alternative to the classic evening sandwich/pizza.
The three stars are unfortunately due to an inconvenience that occurred in the evening: I ordered a schiacciata with rocket, scamorza and speck, unfortunately to my disappointment when I got home I discovered that the person who had taken care of the assembly had completely forgotten to add the speck. I didn't go back to have it replaced because I live almost 10 km away and it was already dinner time so I preferred to avoid it.
However recommended, if you make an exception for this episode (which I repeat happened only once).
Smiling and friendly service in a warm and welcoming environment! Always excellent food, frequented on multiple occasions and has never disappointed! Ideal for a good sandwich or dinner with friends! Polenta is highly recommended as an alternative to bread for gluten-free burgers. Spectacular mascarpone cream in tiramisu or with amaretti biscuits!
I decide to try this restaurant with vegetarian people out of curiosity for a cuisine without meat and fish. the location on the outside is not attractive, but inside it is a spartan environment but with its own personality and style that communicates simplicity and a family tavern, the service is efficient, kind and friendly.
interesting and tasty dishes, right portions, appropriate prices.
solutions also for celiacs
I think I'll go back because I'm curious to try other dishes and the quality-price ratio for Brescia is interesting.
We randomly decided to stop here for dinner. Really glad we did so. It was the best meal we had in the holiday. The menu was classic with some nice more contemporary additions. The dishes were all extremely well prepared and presented. All done from scratch. The steak tartare was good, but the ossobuco was great and the steak with truffle was divine. The home made ice cream and sorbet was to die for. The tiramisu was home made and both dairy and gluten free. The service was attentive and professional. Decent choice of wine. The decor reminded me a bit of my grandparents house which they renovated in the 70s, I'd call it 70s baroque - but it worked and gave it a quiet vintage elegance. Comfortable seats. The only downside was that we ate outside and it was hot - not their fault. One restaurant I will keep in mind when I return to Brescia.
I have just had my third dinner here of my 3 night stay in Brescia. This restaurant and the wonderful food Emilio creates is one of the reasons I fell in love with the beautiful city of Brescia. Last year I arrived in Brescia tired and hungry and stumbled upon this restaurant. Emilio was so thoughtful on that occasion, creating a meal that was memorable and suitable for my special dietary requirements. The language barrier is never an issue. Emilio cooks from the heart and you can tell he gets so much pleasure from giving his patrons a wonderful meal. You get the impression he knows each customer on a first name basis. Tonight he created a bespoke meal for me of polenta, cheese and grilled vegetables. I think he is still coming to terms with someone who is both vegetarian AND coeliac! Thank you Emilio, my second visit to Brescia has been such a pleasure. Good luck to you from your friend from Australia.
Absolutely the best sandwich in Brescia!! Excellent quality ingredients and great attention also to those suffering from intolerances (all sandwiches can also be made gluten-free). I can't wait to go back..super recommended!🤩
